The Muskoka Place Gallery is home to a learning community of painters and other renowned artists and features various workshops for all ages every year.

Artists in Residence takes place at Clevelands House on Lake Rosseau in Minett (see map)

August 17 - 21 / 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Plein Air Painting Workshops
Join Greg and Susan Hindle in capturing the beauty of the Muskoka landscape from Cleveland’s House. Connect with nature through plein-air painting in the great outdoors. One-on-one guidance for novice as well as experienced artists.
Cost: $25 plus $5 for supplies or artists may bring their own supplies
Meet at 2 pm at the covered verandah.

Thursday, August 20th / 7:00 pm

Art Party
Greg and Susan Hindle will guide participants in creating a beautiful landscape painting.
Cost: $30 pp or $60 per family (up to 4)

August 25 - 27 / Tues. Wed. & Thurs. 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Painting Workshops
Join Taimi Poldmaa on Tues. Wed. & Thursday afternoons for artist workshops.... Still Life Nature. We will focus on colour, line & shape, value & intensity. We'll be taking a closer look at pebbles, bark, driftwood and other natural objects found on the beach.
Any medium will work. Participants should bring what they need according to their choice of medium plus pencils & paper for sketching.
Cost: $25.00 per session.
