Join artists, Gord Miller and Ron Leach, for a multi-disciplinary arts weekend, including mixed media, acrylic painting and soapstone carving workshops. Learn a variety of professional techniques, browse through amazing art pieces in the weekend exhibit and unleash your inner artist.

You will be provided with all the materials, tools, and instruction needed to produce and finish a soapstone carving. You will have a choice of making either an elegant loon or a reclining seal. You may get dusty, so are advised to wear appropriate attire.
Involves texture and layering. Ideal for practicing abstraction and contemporary painting. Experimenting with different mediums and methods will free you from many restrictions and bring out your personal expression and discovery.
I have a supply of scrapers, rollers, box cutter etc.
Fun course using printmaking techniques to transfer images from mylar on to watercolour paper.
Supplies: Watercolour paint and paper, one quarter sheet. I will supply the mylar.
Photo Transfer: Get copies made of photos on a photocopier and then will transfer to gesso, contact paper or acrylic gel, also pictures from magazines. If unable to get copies made I will have some to practice on. Copies from inkjet printers don’t work,
Those without supplies can use mine for a charge of 10 dollars for the two days and will have watercolour paper or illustration board for sale.
Greg has worked as a practicing professional artist and instructor for over 30 years and taught for 25 years at the Ontario College of Art & Design. His one on one instruction technique is geared to all levels of experience.

In No Mud Pure Colour" you learn to control your colour and make it work for you. You will be guided in a method that fully utilizes your square brushes. Your pixillated images will invoke the pointillism works of the impressionist masters, in watercolour. You will learn how to create vibrant fresh images using a simple modern palette, any paper and square brushes.
No Mud! Just pure beautiful clean colour images glowing with vibrant colour.
Length: Two day workshop, 9am to 3 pm each day, totals 12 hours of instruction, demonstration and practise with personal attention
Place: The Heart of Muskoka, near Port Carling the Hub of the Lakes
Fee $150.00 + taxes, Participant receive Live instruction, individual critique plus a hard copy instruction manual for future use.
Class Size: 6 participants maximum
A suggested materials list and sources will be supplied on registration. Accommodation: Local accommodation is available for those who wish.
